Grammatical Concept: The Simile of Manner
Because Asaxi adverbs are derived directly from nouns (via Adjectives), they do not simply describe how an action is done; they describe the Simile used to execute it.
Every adverb choice forces the speaker to define the nature of the action: Is it biological (Warm) or mechanical (Cold)?
1. Warm Adverbs (Biological Manner)
Derived from Animate sources (Animals, Body parts).
- Focus: Temperament, Instinct, Effort, Biology.
- Logic: The subject performs the action with the nature of the source.
- Example: Gazelle-nă (Fast). Implies agility, breath, muscle, and athleticism.
2. Cold Adverbs (Mechanical Method)
Derived from Inanimate sources (Tools, Objects, Concepts).
- Focus: Trajectory, Result, Structure, Technique.
- Logic: The subject performs the action with the precision or physics of the source.
- Example: Arrow-nýj (Fast). Implies linear velocity, efficiency, and aerodynamics.
